- 4G-ready and Superfast!
- 1.7Ghz dual-core power
- Affordable, without compromising on performance
With the 4G-ready Xperia SP on Orange, Sony have really thrown down the gauntlet to other manufacturers, proving you can get a phone that looks stunning and performs impressively at a truly affordable price. The Orange Xperia SP - as you might have guessed - combines the best of what the Xperias S and P offered into one stylish device.
Physically, it really hits the mark. The SP's sleek exterior is iconic Sony and the premium materials they've used to make it - a precision crafted aluminium and plastic chassis - mean it really feels the business. The back cover is removable, allowing you to swap out colours and customise them your mood. There's also a subtle LED light strip across the bottom, which changes colours for different notifications and is also completely customisable. We think it's a pretty neat touch.
The Xperia SP rocks a 4.6" HD Reality display that has a resolution of 720 x 1280pixels, which is comparable to the more expensive Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE. Sony, they've also packed in their Mobile Bravia 2 Engine technology (the same stuff that's in their TVs) ensuring that streaming video and gameplay is an absolute delight. And then there's the 8MP camera with Exmor RS sensor - capture breathtaking shots, even at night!
The Orange Xperia SP is no slouch in the performance stakes, either. With the latest Android JellyBean 4.1 OS on board - powered by a hefty 1.7GHz dual-core processor - the SP copes with whatever you throw in its direction. You're also spoilt for choice with connectivity options - NFC one-tap file sharing, 4G-readiness, Bluetooth and WiFi are all here to keep you connected and instantly updated. Stream content, share photos, music and files instantaneously and wire-free.
This stylish 4G-ready handset really has an awful lot to offer, and at such a reasonable price-point, the Sony Xperia SP on Orange is definitely worthy of your serious attention and consideration.
