Nowadays, however, the rest of the smartphone manufacturers are beginning to catch up and have previewed bigger and better screens that are even more impressive than anything else we've ever seen here at Store Orange.

The HD Samsung Galaxy S4?

If you thought the Galaxy S3 was an impressive phone, then you might want to know that Samsung is working on a 1080p HD screen for one of their top end phones next year. They haven't explicitly said that it will go on their S4, but we're pretty sure that it's the kind of feature they'll be including in their next flagship.

LG have demonstrated a cutting edge display that is the same resolution as your HD television in your lounge but small enough to fit in your hand. Measuring just 5" across, this screen has more pixels per inch than the iPhone Retina screen and it's also bigger. HTC, Sharp, Sony have also been getting in on the act with their own versions of your favourite smartphones so you won't have to wait long next year to find out what they have in store.

2013 looks set to be the year of the Full High Definition smartphone on Orange. Whether or not HTC release the HTC J Butterfly in the UK, we're sure you'll be seeing things a lot clearer on next year's smartphones.
