What Sony are offering with the Xperia J is a very clever proposition indeed. Ranking firmly in the lower cost bracket, but with the stylish visual appeal of a higher end phone, the Orange Sony Xperia J is at the apex of the decent-specs-but-not-too-expensive pyramid. It's what you might call (and we do, thank you very much) 'affordable premium'.

At 9.2mm slim and with a beautifully curved profile and rubberised back, the J feels pretty sleek in your hand. It might not be the most powerful handset on the market but the 1.0GHz single-core processor ensures that most things you throw at it run smoothly, and unusually for a handset in this price range, it runs on Android's Ice Cream Sandwich OS. With one eye firmly fixed on the future, Sony have also promised for the Orange Xperia J a future upgrade to Jelly Bean OS, which means that you'll be keeping current for a long time to come.

Sony, being the entertainment giants they are, provide an intuitive and attractive method of managing all your tunes via their handy Walkman app, and with up to 32GB of storage courtesy of a microSD slot and Sony xLoud technology inbuilt into the Xperia J, there's really no excuse not to.

Amazing great phone altogether. I don't have one doubt about it because it is nice looking and has a great feel. It does lagg when you first turn it on but if you download the pc companion and upgrade it to jelly bean its fast and efficient. These phones are actually better than the i phone. 1: the screen is bigger. 2: Better home page. 3: It looks nicer. So if anyone is wondering to get it then i say yes get it as you wont regret it.
