Awards in 2012

Orange, with Barclaycard, have been awarded the Best Industry Innovation of the Year at the Card and Payments Awards 2012, their innovative Quick Tap service. This allows you to pay for small products by simply tapping your mobile phone to a payment device!

Awards in 2011

Orange were awarded "Best Operator" at the Mobile Entertainment Awards, for bringing Orange customers the Orange Swapable entertainment subscriptions on the go. Orange were also recognised for outstanding contribution to new mobile payment technology, with NFC services.

The executive editor of Mobile Entertainment, Tim Green, had this to say: "The Best Operator award recognised a series of outstanding innovations by Orange this year, including a partnership with unlimited music streaming service Deezer and landmark NFC deployments in the UK and France."
